Overview

Matter, a fellow Bristol-based B Corp, recently expanded into a larger warehouse to scale up its pioneering work in the textile industry. Their technology helps manufacturers reduce microplastics and dye pollution in wastewater, making the new facility critical to their growth and environmental mission. To make the space fit for purpose, Matter needed a partner to deliver a complete building services upgrade - efficiently, sustainably, and with minimal disruption.

The solution

UES was appointed to transform the warehouse, bringing together heating, power, lighting, drainage, and security under one coordinated programme of works. Our engineers installed new condensing warm air heaters, upgraded the power distribution with 3-phase commando sockets, and replaced outdated lighting with high-efficiency LEDs. By managing multiple services under one roof, we simplified the process, kept timelines tight, and ensured every system was designed to support Matter’s unique operations.
